EVERYONE approaches a playlist request in their own inimitable way. Some may blithely brush aside a request to form a tracklist of favored hits or send a pre-made list, but Saudi-based designer Reem Alkanhal didn’t disappoint… Rather, she got personal and took to the imaginary DJ decks of Spotify to deliver soundwaves that have meaning for her soul and explained why to boot. 1. Buika - La Falsa Moneda: “I just love classic, soothing, positive-vibes music and this one has a special place in my heart. It's connected to a beautiful memory and place.”

2. Nelly Furtado - I’m Like A Bird: “It’s just a song that never gets old. It describes me as a person and I enjoy singing along.”

3. Sherine - Katar Khaere: “The best song and has a good vibe. I love Sherie’s voice.”

4. Hussain Al Jassmi - Ahebbak: “He has a beautiful soothing voice and it’s not dramatic or sad.”
